Position Overview 

We are seeking an innovative and experienced LLM Research Engineer to drive our exploration and implementation of cutting-edge language models in enterprise identity security. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between academic AI research and practical enterprise applications, with a focus on security and scalability. 

Primary Responsibilities 

Research & Innovation 

  • Lead research initiatives on state-of-the-art Language Models (GPT-4, Sonnet, LLaMA, etc.) 

  • Evaluate and benchmark different LLM providers, APIs, and deployment options 

  • Analyze trade-offs between hosted APIs vs. self-hosted models 

  • Research security implications and best practices for LLM integration in enterprise environments 

  • Stay current with the rapidly evolving LLM landscape and emerging capabilities 

Technical Implementation 

  • Develop proof-of-concept applications and MVPs using modern LLM frameworks 

  • Design and implement secure API integration patterns 

  • Create scalable solutions using container orchestration platforms 

  • Optimize model deployment and inference for enterprise-scale requirements 

  • Implement proper evaluation metrics and monitoring systems 

Leadership & Collaboration 

  • Drive technical decision-making for LLM integration strategies 

  • Participate in architecture design sessions and innovation workshops 

  • Mentor team members on LLM technologies and best practices 

  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards 

  • Document findings, methodologies, and technical specifications 

Required Qualifications 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred) 

  • 3+ years of software development experience 

  • Strong proficiency in Python 

  • LLM & AI  

  • Understanding of modern LLM architectures and capabilities 

  • Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) 

  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and LLM optimization techniques 

  • Knowledge of AI security considerations and best practices 

  • Infrastructure & Tools  

  • Strong experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) 

  • Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) 

  • Solid Linux system administration skills 

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices 

Security Knowledge 

  • Understanding of enterprise security frameworks and compliance requirements 

  • Experience with identity and access management systems 

  • Knowledge of API security best practices 

  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and implications for AI systems 

Soft Skills 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences 

  • Self-motivated with strong project management capabilities 

  • Collaborative mindset with excellent teamwork skills
