ML Ops Engineer - Python, AWS, Geospatial
$140,000 - $190,000 per annum

Fully Remote – US based

Are you a MLOps Engineer looking to make a real difference? Join our forward-thinking earth observation start-up to design and build machine learning infrastructure for a talented team of data and remote sensing scientists.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize cloud resources to ensure efficient use for both development and production.
• Develop ML infrastructure by creating and managing model repositories, tracking experiments, and orchestrating workflows using tools like Prefect, Airflow, and Dagster.
• Deploy models for both batch and online inference
• Focus initially on setting up MLOps and then transition to developing, debugging, and deploying models using hyperspectral data.
• Monitor and maintain models by setting up model monitoring, registries, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous training processes.

Qualifications:

• A degree (BS, MS, or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Machine Learning role.
• Proficiency in Python, Pytorch, Weights and Biases, ML Flow, DVC, Ray, and Dask
• Experience with deploying and monitoring models in AWS.
• Comfortable making rapid decisions and taking ownership of system design within a fast-paced start-up environment.

This business is offering $140k-$190k base and equity package, along with:
